To be honest, a few months ago, when I saw this double barrel, I was a little skeptic. And about a month ago, I was looking for a bigger water reservoir for my solo long run. I hate water bladder. I tried a running vest that holds the bottle on the front, it bruises my ribs. I loves my Salomon S-Lab, but the water flasks are too small for a long run. Then I tried this Double Barrel. It surprised me. I used it for my hill repeat and also on my 36 miles over the long path, and it worked great. I didn’t need to refill my water.

Pro : I can reach all the pockets, bottles and even the back storage without stopping. It didn’t cover my whole back, so my back can be breath better and doesn’t soak as much as other running vest or pack. The shoulder pocket looks small, but it s actually stretchable more than it looks. There s a key holder on the back pocket, it s really secure. It s another peace of mind, knowing that I wouldn’t be homeless after my long run.

Cons : I hope the next version will come with a bigger storage and poles loop to keep all those UTMB gears requirements.
