MT. Tamanny Hill Repeat: Sat, 24 May 2014 10:29:44; God Bless My Rock Plates

A week before Cayuga, and 4 weeks before Manitou, hill training was needed. So I braced my self, my legs and my trail beast Minimus 110, headed up to Delaware Water Gap NJ,  and tested myself against Mt Tammany rough terrain. My plan was to run it as many times as my legs could do.
This was my 3rd time I ran a hill repeat training here. It felt this time was harder than when I ran it in the winter with snow covering the trail. Probably without snow, the rocks became steeper on the uphill, and the losing rock became harder to run it on the downhill. But still it was such a scenic run. The trees, the running streams, and the scenic landscape, were always entertaining my mind and content my heart. At the end, I was only able to do 4 loops. I was drained but I was a happy kid again. Though I felt my ankles strength had not been 100% recovered, but I could run at almost normal speed, that really made my day.
