The 2014 NYC Half will take runners on a spectacular 13.1-mile tour of NYC. Led by a talent-packed roster of American and international elites, runners will stop traffic in Manhattan, from Central Park through Times Square to lower Manhattan!

Course Info

The NYC Half takes runners on a spectacular tour of Manhattan!

Mile 1: Start in Central Park on East Drive at 72nd Street and head north. Climb Cat Hill, pass the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and see the Fred Lebow statue at Engineers’ Gate.

Mile 2: Continue north on East Drive past the 102nd Street Transverse. Run downhill and pass Lasker Rink.

Mile 3: Bear right and exit the park at Lenox Avenue/Malcolm X Boulevard. Turn left onto 110th Street/Central Park North and head west. Run counter-clockwise around Central Park West Circle and return to re-enter the park at Lenox Avenue.

Mile 4: Continue through the Harlem Hills and south on West Drive.

Mile 5: Continue south on West Drive, passing the Reservoir.

Mile 6: Continue south on West Drive, passing the TCS New York City Marathon finish line.

Mile 7: Bear right onto Seventh Avenue to exit the park. Run south on Seventh Avenue and through Times Square!

Mile 8: Turn right onto West 42nd Street and run west. Turn right onto the West Side Highway and run north to 43rd Street; make a U-turn and run south on the West Side Highway.

Miles 9−11: Continue south and see stunning views of Lower Manhattan draw ever closer. Pass Midtown West, Chelsea, the West Village, SoHo, and Tribeca on your left.

Mile 12: Continue south, passing Battery Park City on your right.

Mile 13: Bear left and run through the Battery Park Underpass to FDR Drive North. Bear right onto the South Street exit and turn right onto South Street.

Mile 13.1: Turn left on Maiden Lane, then left on Water Street to the finish at Wall Street.
