CC5K 2018 – CaniRunners Lovepink

CC5K #almamatertun 2018 event was organized by Canirunners, my high-school alma-mater running club, for the fourth time. Working with RunID and Lovepink, this race would promote #breastcancerawareness campaign. The course would be around the school neighborhood in Menteng, Central Jakarta. This would be my last race before my second attempt on Rinjani100. Usually I don’t like 5K races since it is too fast and too furious, but I did this race just because it was an event from my high school, and it would be great to see old friends.

L4RI Run 5K – Unity in Diversity

Despite I hate short distance race, but sometime it s a necessary evil. Furthermore, this 5K race was a special one, it just beyond the running itself. This year run by L4RI (Love For Republic of Indonesia) was to promote how to embrace diversity in our nation’s culture, religion, race and regions. AAJI (Indonesian Jesuit Alumni Association) worked together with GP ANSOR, a Muslim youth organziation, to create a peaceful and harmonic running race event for everyone, which was organized by Gonzaga College, a Jesuit high school.

CC5K 2017 – Too Fast Too Furios Seriously I Hate 5K Race

This race was part of Canisius College 90th years anniversary celebration, and the theme was “90 years of Canisius College for Indonesia”
This CC5K #almamateRUN is organized by CANIRUNNERS and supported by RUN.ID, which is the third year of CC5K annual running race, after its success in 2015 and 2016 courses in Menteng area that is the home base of Canisius College Jakarta. This event supports Du’Anyam, traditional craft-women in Nusa Tenggara Timur – East of Indonesia, by distributing the handcrafts from Du’a to the runners.
